CUSTOM WOOD - If you have a flat bed truck, steel bed floor or any vehicle that did not originally have a wood floor, then we can make a custom wood bed according to your specifications. Let MAR-K™ help you make the wood floor to fit your measurements. We stock oak boards for a maximum finished length of about 110 inches. Keep in mind how many boards and metal strips you need for your application and provide the measurements indicated on our bed wood data sheet below. We must know the dimensions of your bed area and the sizes of the boards to accurately design your specific application. CUSTOM BED STRIPS - Good news! If you have a flat bed truck, steel bed floor, or any other vehicle that did not have a standard pattern for strips and wood, then we can make bed strips to your specifications. MAR-K™ can help you design your custom bed strips. We can supply any length strips with or without square holes according to your special pattern. Strips are 1.50" wide and can be made in any length. The flat area in the center of the strips is .70" wide, which is large enough for a 5/16 carriage bolt head. The rolled edges are .25" tall. We generally recommend approximately 12" to 15" bolt spacing to minimize distortion. When bolting strips to an existing truck bed, be sure to avoid specifying hole locations that would interfere with structure on the under side of the bed floor. Please note: we do not punch round holes in bed strips. If you choose to drill your own round holes at the time of assembly, the bed strips may be attached with ribbed neck carriage bolts or other screws having a head diameter less than 3/4"
