Cox, Norman
From Ocala FL
Norman Cox sent us some nice photos of his '37 Chevy Short Step. He used MAR-K parts to rebuild the entire bed and he is currently in the process of rebuilding another one as well.
He writes, "...Half-ton 37 Chevy truck, steel body and Mar-K bed, with fiberglass fenders and running boards. The frame has been powder coated and it has a TCI mustang II front end with coil over shocks and a S10 Blazer rear end with a 3:42 Posit rear end on TCI rear spring kit, with power disk brakes front and rear. The body, hood, and grill dog house has been media blasted to bare metal and has a candy maroon paint job with satin clear coat. The interior medal parts have been powder coated black and the head liner, door panels, and kick panels has been cover in maroon vinyl. It has procomp bucket seats and flaming river steering column. The interior of the truck has been covered with FAT MAT insulation for heat and sound. The truck has a new grill, Mar-K bed and wood kit, and new glass with a new windshield frame that rolls in and out. It has 15 inch wheel vintiques wheels, trim rings, hub caps, with new 225 55 15 tires. The engine is a ZZ4 30 over with the hot cam and some headwork. It has an aluminum radiator with a 2400 CFM fan and controller, a March front runner, a MSD atomic EFI systems (I had a Procom 8 stack efi on it, but could not get it to work right on the street), with a 15 gal fuel cell, and a MSD 6AL. The transmission is a 700R4 with a tight 2800 10 inch torque converter. The original gauges has been restored and converted to 12V. It has an EZ wire wiring harness with LED lights front and rear. It has vintage air and the radio is secret auto."
