David Alderman used unpolished stainless steel bed strips from MAR-K on his truck.

He writes, "A couple of pics of C10 with your unpolished bed strips. The wood is unstained cherry. Used your suggestion of Smith & Co. Epoxy sealer two coats, then six coats of Minwax Helmsman clear urethane sanded between every coat.... Like the unpolished stainless, tones everything down a bit...."
