Roger sent us some pictures of his 1934 Ford pickup. He used MAR-K custom polished bed strips with hidden holes and custom oak bed wood.

He writes, "I finished installing the bed wood on my 1934 Ford Pick-up this past weekend.... the oak was sanded (220 grit) on all sides, stained with Minwax Special Walnut (two coats) to match my interior oak wood, finished with Minwax Helmsman Spar Urethane (three coats), sanded with 220 grit after coats one and two were thoroughly dry. The underside was finished the same as the top side.

"I didn't receive the billet fuel filler door until... after I stained and finished two coats on the oak wood. I had to machine the semi finished wood to accommodate the filler door very carefully. I must say it turned out perfect. I did stain and urethane the raw wood, also very carefully."
